POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Branch Leadership (District Executive Director and Branch Program Director) the incumbent assists with the day-to-day operations of the Aquatics Department programs and program staff, to include supervision of lifeguards, swim instructors, and water aerobics instructors within the scope of the aquatic programming areas. The Aquatics Program Coordinator will have the responsibility of staff training and supervision of swim lesson programs, birthday parties, and rentals. Responsibilities include public relations, as well as staff and volunteer training and development to provide a comprehensive aquatics program for all ages. The Aquatics Program Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pools to include but not limited to balancing and maintenance of pool chemicals, cleaning, and a basic understanding and ability to control the pools pump systems.
