Be the Go-To Leader Who Keeps the Y Running Smoothly!

Do you thrive under pressure, love being in the center of the action, and enjoy making a difference in every corner of a facility? As Manager on Duty, you're the go-to person when directors are off the clock-but the show must go on!

What You'll Be Doing:

As our "captain of the ship," you'll keep everything running like a well-oiled machine:

• Be the friendly face and first responder for members, staff, and visitors.
• Keep your eagle eyes on the facility, logging everything from locker room checks to equipment cleanliness.
• Make sure staff are where they need to be and that members are happy, safe, and supported.
• Help give awesome tours to future members (you're basically the hype person for the Y!)
• Write up quick shift reports to keep everyone in the loop.
• Be a walking billboard for our core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A calm, cool, collected attitude-even when juggling a million things at once.
• Great communication skills and a "we've got this" mindset.
• You don't need constant supervision-you're the one people look to for guidance!
• High school diploma or equivalent, current CPR & First Aid, and at least 21 years old.

Bonus points if you're already familiar with YMCA policies-but if not, we'll get you up to speed fast.

A Bit About the Physical Stuff:

• You'll be standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
• You're comfortable checking in on wet areas, locker rooms, and equipment-it's all part of keeping our Y looking its best!
