Association Director of Early Learning

Family YMCA | Full-Time | Exempt

The Family YMCA is seeking a dynamic, strategic leader to serve as our Association Director of Early Learning. This role provides visionary leadership and oversight for our Child Development Academy and HUB Child Watch programs, ensuring high-quality early learning experiences that reflect our values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

The Director partners with community leaders, school systems, workforce development organizations, and families to expand access to early childhood education while strengthening enrollment, fundraising, and long-term sustainability. This position supervises the Director of Operations and works closely with senior leadership to align early learning initiatives with the YMCA's strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all early learning programs
• Drive enrollment growth and community partnerships
• Lead annual campaign efforts and support fundraising initiatives
• Develop staff recruitment and workforce pipeline strategies
• Monitor budgets, financial performance, and compliance standards
• Serve as the primary community ambassador for early learning services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required (Early Childhood, Education, Business, or related field preferred) OR Associate's degree in a related field with significant progressive leadership experience in early childhood or nonprofit management.
• 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in childcare or nonprofit management
• Strong experience in staff development, enrollment management, and community engagement
• Fundraising and grant experience preferred
