Aquatics Program Lead – Part-Time

The Burke County Family YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic Aquatics Program Lead to help lead our aquatics programs and create a safe, welcoming experience for members of all ages. This position supports the day-to-day operation of the Aquatics Department, including swim lessons, water aerobics, lifeguarding, Safety Around Water programs, staff scheduling and development, pool operations, and special programs.

The ideal candidate is a dependable leader who enjoys developing staff, building relationships, and creating high-quality programs that reflect the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent required; related college education preferred. Aquatics leadership, programming, or supervisory experience is valued, with 1–2 years of related experience preferred. Current YMCA or American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification is required.
